Recent advancements in clean energy technology have brought into light the potential of high-entropy alloys (HEAs) for hydrogen production. These innovative materials can reduce the reliance on precious metals such as platinum. Researchers at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS) in Bengaluru have developed a new HEA catalyst, PtPdCoNiMn, which demonstrates enhanced efficiency in the electrolysis of water.
